potted history
With the dawning of the new Millenium came Syd's Bikes 2 - opened in January 2000, it is the sister shop to Sydney Street Bikes; our first venture opened in Brighton seven years earlier. Our tiny empire is family owned and family run, which is increasingly rare in the world of cycling today and is something of which we are justifiably proud. The continued success of our first shop encouraged us to expand into Hove and this has allowed us to offer an even wider, more diverse range of products than ever before. And, we've achieved this without losing the small family feeling that served us so well from the start. We believe passionately in what we do - and we know our customers appreciate our efforts too.

Naturally, everyone employed in our shops is passionate, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all aspects of cycling - some even ride bikes themselves ! Every year our humble efforts support worthwhile causes through various sponsored cycle events.

getting to us
As enthusiasts, we'd love everyone to cycle to us, but as realists and business people, we recognise it's not possible [or appropriate] for all of our lovely customers to do this.
Therefore, If coming by car, there are always spaces in the surrounding minor roads, though you will need to pay a small fee to park there. Please read the parking notices.
Buses that stop nearby are: 2, 2A, 25A, 46, 46A and the 49. There's more bus information here and we're only minutes walk from Aldrington train station too. You can find more rail information here.
